Paul Samson

Paul Samson currently serves as Deputy General Counsel for Optum Advisory & Implementations Services within OptumInsight, a position held since April 2023. Prior to this role, Paul held the title of Senior Vice President and Managing Senior Counsel at Change Healthcare, acting as the business unit lead counsel for the Technology Enabled Services division since March 2017. Earlier in their career, Paul was Chief Counsel at McKesson Corporation for RelayHealth Financial Solutions, providing general legal counsel across multiple business units. Their experience also includes serving as Division Corporate Counsel at NCR Corporation, as well as various legal positions at Damon & Morey, White & Case, McKenna, Conner & Cuneo, and Clark & Trevithick, PC. Paul earned a Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law and a BA in American Government from the University of Virginia.
