Alisa Pomeroy has an extensive work experience in the television industry. Alisa began their career at the BBC in 2001, where they worked as a Producer Director and Assistant Producer until 2006. Alisa then joined Talkback Thames Productions as a Senior Producer from 2006 to 2008. In 2009, Alisa worked for Landmark Films as a Producer Director for a year before moving on to Films of Record Limited, where they served as a Series Producer from 2013 to 2014. In the same period, they also worked as a Series Director at THE GARDEN PRODUCTIONS LIMITED. In 2010, Alisa returned to the BBC as a Producer Director and continued in that role until 2013. Alisa then joined Shine Television LLC as an Executive Producer from 2014 to 2015. Currently, Alisa Pomeroy is employed at Channel 4, where they have held various positions such as Commissioning Editor, Documentaries from 2015 to 2020, Senior Commissioning Editor, Factual from 2020 until now, and is currently serving as the Head of Documentaries since January 2022.
Alisa Pomeroy attended the University of Cambridge from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a B.A. and M.A. degree in Modern and Medieval Languages with a focus on French and Spanish.
