Rizwen Butt

Rizwen Butt has extensive experience working in the field of testing and quality assurance. Rizwen began their career at Siemens in 2003 as a Senior QA Engineer, where they gained experience in workload scheduling, test estimation, and team leadership. In 2010, they joined Centrica as a Test Consultant, focusing on planning and testing Oracle Identity Management and integration with ServiceNow. Rizwen then worked at Sky as a Test Lead from 2011 to 2011, leading testing activities. Rizwen further honed their skills at BBC as a UAT Test Lead, responsible for managing the sign-off process for a new system. Rizwen later joined Capita as a Security Test Manager and EDF Energy as a Test Lead in 2012. In 2013, Rizwen joined Sky again as an Agile Technical Tester until 2016. Rizwen was then hired by Clarksons Platou as a QA Lead, overseeing quality assurance activities. In 2019, Rizwen joined Vitality as an Automation Test Analyst until 2020. Currently, they work at Channel 4 as a Test Lead.

Rizwen Butt completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Queen Mary University of London from 1992 to 1995. In addition, from 1994 to 1995, Rizwen obtained a Master of Science in Real Time Systems from London South Bank University. Furthermore, Rizwen acquired additional certifications, including the Intermediate Python for Data Science Course from DataCamp in 2018 and the Python 3 Tutorial course from SoloLearn in 2017.
