Dorothy Sekhukhune

Dr Sekhukhune is an experienced graduate with Doctoral Curationis (Psych. N) (UJ); MSc. (Psych.N.) (Wits); Fellow of the Graduate School of Arts and Science at Harvard University [USA]: B.A.(Cur).(UNISA); Advanced Health Services Management Certificate (PTA); Leadership Development Programme (WBS); R/N; R/M; R/Psych. (SA). Dorothy is a practicing psychotherapist, counselling and family therapist and holds a certificate in Business and Life Coaching. Also completed Skills Development Facilitation, Outcomes based assessment and outcomes-based moderation courses and is accredited with Education, Training and Development Practices Sector (ETDP-SETA).

Dorothy is equipped with skills and knowledge of over 30 years in leadership and business development, financial analysis, product development, Human capital and project management. She also acquired skills and knowledge in human capital management and development, performance management, facilitated individual development plan (IDP) for succession planning, labour relations with specific reference to chairing disciplinary and appeal hearings, negotiation skills, persuasive skills, and also represented the company at the CCMA and Arbitration proceedings.

She is currently the Managing Director of Mosego Home Based Care for Psycho-Geriatric persons. The focus is to assist these users towards deinstitutionalisation as part of the process required by the new Mental Health Care Act 17 of 2002. She is the founding member of Mosego co-owns it with a partner. She is also the founder of Noko-Tswako Business Solutions (cc) which focuses in assisting other organisations with Organisational Development and Leadership Development. She is the Chairperson of the Centre for HIV and AIDS Prevention Studies (CHAPS) Board.
