Riya J.

Riya J. has an extensive work experience in various HR roles. Riya began their career as an Intern at Swasti- A Society for Mental Health and Counseling in 2013. Riya then worked as an Intern at Nur Manzil Psychiatric Centre in the same year. In 2016, they served as an Intern at e-pathshala and later became an Executive Trainee at MindMantra for a brief period.

Riya gained significant experience at Newgen Software, where they worked as an Employee Relations Specialist from 2017 to 2019. Riya'sresponsibilities included stakeholder management, employee life cycle management, engagement initiatives, rewards and recognition, and managing various HR processes. Riya actively participated in recruitment drives, campus recruitment, and organizing company events.

Following that, Riya joined Delhivery as an HR Business Partner - Lead in 2019, where they worked until 2020. At Delhivery, they served as a strategic partner, focusing on performance management, employee grievances, third-party/vendor management, and retention strategies.

In 2020, Riya moved to WheelsEye as a Corporate TA-HRBP. In this role, they contributed to building teams and culture in a high-growth startup, handled end-to-end recruitment, managed processes, and enhanced employee experience through effective communication and enablement.

Most recently, Riya joined Chargeup in 2023 as a Talent Management Lead. Further details about their role and responsibilities are not provided.

Riya J. began their education in 2005 at Gurukul Academy, where they completed their 10th grade education in a range of subjects. Riya then continued their studies at Gurukul Academy and completed their 12th grade education in PCM with Computer Science in 2012. In the same year, they enrolled at Delhi University and pursued a B.A. (Honours) degree in Psychology until 2015.

After completing their bachelor's degree, Riya J. joined the University of Delhi in 2015 and pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, which they completed in 2017. In 2018, Riya J. obtained the AON Certified Distinguished HR Analytics Professional certification from Aon Hewitt.

Riya J. expanded their education in 2012 by enrolling in a certification course in French Language at Stephens College, University of Delhi. In 2022, they decided to further enhance their knowledge and enrolled in the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode for a degree in Human Resource Management & Analytics, which they will complete in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Riya J. has obtained several certifications to augment their skills. These include the IIMKAsyncEMDPHRMA Batch 8 certification from the United Latino Students Association, which they earned in April 2023. Other certifications they have acquired include Critical Thinking for Better Judgment and Decision-Making from LinkedIn in November 2020, Tech Recruitment from hirist.com in May 2020, and various human resources-related courses from LinkedIn and Udemy between 2018 and 2020.
