Ken Rimple

Ken Rimple has worked in the technology industry since 1995. Ken began their career as a Technology Architect at Actium Corp., where they wrote two web applications with emerging technologies at the time. Ken then worked as a Consultant at First USA, rolling out the first iteration of WingSpan Bank with a cross-company team of consultants and employees. Ken also worked as a Java Consultant at ICG Commerce, Inc., working on the first iteration of the B2B commerce engine.

In 1999, Ken Rimple became the Java Practice Lead at Anexinet, where they were involved with pre-sales, sales, proposal and consulting work. Ken then worked as a Consultant at Solvepoint Corporation, where they upgraded an application from Progress/DB to a Tomcat web application. At e-brilliance, llc., they worked on a number of projects in Java EE/Spring and . NET, usually functioning as the application architect and system integrations specialist.

In 2007, Ken Rimple began working as a Consultant and Trainer/Mentor at Chariot Solutions. Ken is a leader and generalist who specializes in key technologies and where they fit into the tech landscape. Ken mentors developers, teaches courses, speaks at conferences, and plays a key role in organizing and producing conferences. Ken also worked as a Consultant at Comcast Cable, developing a large-scale Spring Java application. Additionally, they worked as an Education/Consultant on DAC Project at Chariot Solutions for CCAD.

Ken Rimple currently focuses on Single Page JS Applications in React, Angular other technologies, is comfortable on the NodeJS platform, is a Java/Spring developer, and has taught courses as a certified trainer in a full complement of Spring training courses at VMWare before writing their own courses in single-page applications.

Ken Rimple obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Spring Garden College between 1987 and 1990. In 2009, they became a Certified SpringSource/VMWare trainer from VMWare/SpringSource. In 2019, they obtained an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and a Certified Cloud Practitioner from AWS. In 2020, they became an AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Associate from AWS.
