Mirna Mohareb

Mirna Mohareb is a Senior Data Scientist at Charles River Laboratories since January 2023, with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Previously at Scotiabank, Mirna served as the lead data scientist for multiple LATAM countries, overseeing model development, standardizing team best practices, and mentoring new team members. Mirna received the Best of the Best 2022 award for contributions as a Culture Catalyst. Prior roles include Applied Research Manager at Avertus, where algorithms for EEG interpretation were developed, and Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto, assisting with lab courses. Mirna holds a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Electrical and Computer Engineering, a PhD in Biomaterials and Biomedical Engineering, and a BASc in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto.
