Marika Garton

Marika Garton is currently the Manager of Project Support for the Student Management Transformation Project at Charles Sturt University, a role assumed in July 2023, following a progression through various positions within the university's Division of Student Experience. Marika has extensive experience in organizational roles, having served as a Change Analyst, Change Advisor, and Administration and Projects Officer at the same institution. Additionally, Marika works as a Contributing Writer for Women's Agenda since August 2023 and has held the position of Chief Writer at the Australian Assembly of Administrators until December 2023. Previous experience includes serving as Business Manager and Executive Assistant to the Director at PHYZ X Health Group and managing operations at Australia Wide Coaches. Early career roles consisted of patient care coordination at Genea, recruitment consultancy at AccountAbility Recruitment, and teaching in Dance and Physical Education at the NSW Department of Education and Communities. Marika holds a Bachelor of Education in Dance from the Australian College of Physical Education and has further qualifications in design and creative arts from ISCD.
