Kate Parrish

Kate has enjoyed a successful career in hospitality. Her path started as a front desk agent while attending Clemson University where she majored in Hospitality Management. After graduation she relocated to Charleston to continue her career as Catering Sales Manager at the DoubleTree on Market (currently Hotel Emeline). She moved roles to become the hotel’s full service wedding coordinator and was ultimately promoted to the Director of Catering. When the property was sold, she moved into the National Sales Manager for Wild Dunes Resort. She saw quick success being the Leader of the Quarter for Sales and Profit within the first 6 months of hire. Most recently, she was a Dual Director of Sales with Raines Co for their Cambria Hotels. She was the recipient of the 2020 TUF Award by Choice Hotels International for demonstrating leadership in extraordinary circumstances and using out-of-the-box thinking to drive business. She is an active member of the East Cooper Kiwanis Club and strives to improve herself by continuing her education, most recently acquiring the certification of Hospitality Sales Professional from AHLA.
