Elisha Minter

Elisha Minter is an experienced storyteller and educator with a diverse background in community engagement and program development. Currently serving as a Road Scholar for the North Carolina Humanities Council since January 2000, Elisha has also contributed to the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library for over 26 years, focusing on planning programs for various age groups and fostering a love for reading and storytelling. Additionally, Elisha operates "Mother Minter's Magical Moments with Children," providing storytelling, acting, music, and workshops for children and adults. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in African and African American Studies from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a degree in Music, Voice, and Piano from Fayetteville State University.
