Tim Ivey

Tim Ivey currently serves as Chief Operations Officer for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, a position held since June 2024. Previously, Tim held various leadership roles at Iredell-Statesville Schools, including Chief Technology and Facilities Officer and three principal positions, where significant achievements included improving work order efficiency by 60% and increasing graduation rates at South Iredell High School from 85.7% to 90%. Tim was recognized for continuous improvement and superior customer service by the Board of Education and led initiatives that garnered distinguished school ratings, such as Blue Ribbon School of Excellence and Honors School of Excellence. Tim's educational background includes a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Science in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Appalachian State University.
