Patrick McIntyre

Patrick McIntyre started their work experience as a Placement Student at Institut Laue Langevin from October 2011 to June 2012. Patrick then became a Student at the University of Reading from October 2009 to July 2013. Patrick completed their Ph.D. at the University of Leicester, focusing on fragment-based drug discovery of allosteric kinase inhibitors. Patrick worked as a Senior Scientist at Sygnature Discovery from January 2018 to June 2021, and as a Scientist from October 2018 to June 2021. Patrick worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Aurelia Bioscience Ltd from July 2021 to October 2022. Currently, Patrick is working as a Senior Research Scientist at Charnwood Discovery since July 2021, and is now a Principal Scientist from August 2023.

Patrick McIntyre attended Pocklington School from 2001 to 2009. Patrick then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry at the University of Reading from 2009 to 2013. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree at the University of Leicester from 2013 to 2017.
