Jenny Law has a diverse work experience spanning various legal and administrative roles. Jenny began their career as a Summer Law Clerk at Ee & Lim Advocates in 2005. In 2006, they worked as a Tutor and Teaching Assistant at the University of Otago and also served as a Research Assistant for a short duration. Jenny then joined Deloitte in 2008 as an Analyst before transitioning to a role as a Consultant at My Accounts in 2009.

In 2010, Jenny became a Solicitor at Gilbert M. Johnstone & Co. Lawyers and remained in this position until 2012. Jenny then joined Fontgalland Lawyers as a Senior Solicitor in 2013. In 2014, Jenny took on the role of Senior Lease Administrator at Charter Hall and worked in this position until 2015. Jenny then moved to a role as a Legal Counsel at Charter Hall from 2015 to 2017. Finally, they served as a Legal Counsel and Assistant Company Secretary at Charter Hall from 2017 to 2018, before being promoted to the position of Senior Legal Counsel and Assistant Company Secretary in 2018.

Jenny Law, AGIA ACG (CS, CGP), has a well-rounded education history with a focus on corporate governance, taxation, legal practice, and commerce. Jenny completed their Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance from the Governance Institute of Australia between 2014 and 2016. In 2010, Jenny Law participated in the CPA Australia Program to gain expertise in Advanced Taxation. In 2007 and 2008, they attended the Institute of Professional Legal Studies to enhance their knowledge in Legal Practice, Litigation, and Professional Development. Jenny Law obtained their Bachelor of Laws & Bachelor of Commerce (Accountancy) from the University of Otago from 2003 to 2007. Prior to their university education, they attended Otago Girls' High School from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, Jenny Law has obtained certifications as a Barrister and Solicitor from the High Court of Australia in 2011, a Legal Practitioner from the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2010, and a Barrister and Solicitor from the High Court of New Zealand in 2008.
