Liany E. Arroyo

Liany E. Arroyo, MPH, CPH, currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Charter Oak Health Center, Inc. since May 2023. Prior experience includes directing the City of Hartford's Department of Health and Human Services from December 2017 to May 2023 and holding leadership positions at Power to Decide, overseeing Health Equity and Partnerships from November 2013 to November 2017. Liany also contributed as an Expert/Consultant at the US Department of Health and Human Services in early 2013 and served as Associate Director of Education and Children's Policy at the National Council of La Raza from October 2009 to March 2013. Previous roles include Director of the Institute for Hispanic Health at NCLR and a Tobacco Health Educator at the Cobb County Board of Health in 2002. Liany holds a Master of Public Health in Sociomedical Sciences from Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wellesley College.
