Robert Plowman

Chief Financial Officer at Charter One

Robert Plowman has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Robert started their career at Ernst & Young, working as an Auditor in Assurance Services for three years. Robert then joined Intel Corporation and held the position of Senior Finance Manager for a decade. Following that, they worked at Unisource Global Solutions, where they held two roles, starting as Director of Business Operations and later becoming Vice President of Manufacturing & Operations. After their tenure at Unisource Global Solutions, they served as the Chief Administrative Officer at Make-A-Wish Arizona for three years. In 2014, Robert established their own advisory firm called Robert Plowman Advisory Services. Robert subsequently took on the role of Chief Financial Officer at American Leadership Academy, a non-profit K-12 public charter school, and currently holds the same title at Charter One.

Robert Plowman completed their education at the Thunderbird School of Global Management in 1999, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on International Business. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1996, they attended the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting. In addition to their degrees, they also obtained a CPA certification from the Arizona State Board of Accountancy in 2000.
