Aungar Chatterjee

Aungar Chatterjee is an accomplished education and investment professional with extensive experience in leadership and curriculum development. Currently serving as Investment Director at Charter School Growth Fund since March 2022, Aungar previously held roles at McKinsey & Company as Associate and Summer Associate, where analytical skills were applied to drive educational initiatives. Aungar's notable tenure at Blackstone Valley Prep Mayoral Academy included serving as Dean of Academics and Culture, where school-wide initiatives were implemented, and as an ELA Teacher and Grade Level Chair, contributing to the development of English Language Arts curriculum. Aungar also held significant positions at Bridge, including Academic Expansion Lead, successfully opening 24 schools in Liberia and enhancing educational outcomes for over 100,000 students in Kenya. Aungar holds an MBA from Yale School of Management and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and English from Rutgers University.
