Jessica Leavitt has varied work experience spanning across multiple industries with their earliest job starting in 2015. Jessica has worked as a Social Worker at Bellefaire JCB and Caring Hospice Services. Jessica worked as an Interprofessional Hotspotting Learning Collaborative at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in 2016, followed by Trauma Informed Care Research Practicum at Case Western Reserve University. In 2017, they worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and also as an Operations Engineering Intern at University Hospitals. In 2018, they became an Administrative Fellow at Trinity Health (HQ Michigan), and then moved on to become an Epic Project Manager, Revenue Excellence, St. Joseph Mercy Health System, Performance Management Consultant- Revenue Excellence. Jessica then worked as an Operations Manager at Emmaus Health from July 2020 to August 2021. Jessica worked at Nue Life Health from May 2022 as a Client Success Manager till February 2023 and currently works as an Implementation Project Associate since June 2023 at ChartSpan Medical Technologies.

Jessica Leavitt obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Public Health from the University of Mount Union in 2015, and then went on to earn a Master of Science in Social Administration (MSW) with a concentration in Direct Practice - Health from Case Western Reserve University in 2018. Jessica also received a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a major in Health Care Policy and Administration from Case Western Reserve University from 2016 to 2018. Prior to these degrees, they attended The College of Wooster from 2011 to 2013, but did not earn a degree. In addition, they received several certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Nexus at University of Michigan Engineering in 2019, Clinical Social Worker-Limited Licensure from the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, & Marriage and Family Therapist Board in 2019, Certified Lean Healthcare Practitioner from Kent State University in 2018, and QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Certified from QPR Institute in 2016.
