Garrett Barlowe

Garrett Barlowe started their career as a Stocker at Ingles Markets, Inc. from June 2017 to December 2018. Garrett then worked as a Process Engineer at Timber Wolf Forest Products from January 2019 to March 2021. During this role, they created 3D models for custom furniture parts and utilized CNC machines, manual mills, lathes, and hand cutting and sanding applications. Afterwards, they joined Exela Pharma Sciences LLC as a Process Engineer from April 2021 to February 2022. In this position, they planned projects involving facility change and new equipment, developed packaging lines, and worked with vial and syringe filling equipment. Currently, Garrett is a Process Engineer at Chase Corporation since February 2022. Garrett is responsible for implementing process improvement projects, assisting maintenance personnel, and planning continuous improvement projects for the facility.

Garrett Barlowe has a strong educational background in engineering technology. Garrett earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering Technology from Western Carolina University, where they studied from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they attended Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute from 2017 to 2019, where they obtained two Associate's degrees. The first Associate's degree was in Electronics Engineering Technology, and the second was in Mechanical Engineering Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Garrett Barlowe has also obtained several certifications. Garrett holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from The Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC), which they obtained in July 2022. Garrett also obtained certifications in Eap, Fire Prevention, and Exit Routes, as well as Occupational Noise Exposure from Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute in September 2021.
