Vera Sostre Sphr

Vera Sostre, SPHR, PHR has an extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Vera is currently serving as the Director of Human Resources at Chateau Elan Winery & Resort. Prior to this, they worked as the Area Director of Training and Human Resources at FALCON HOTEL CORP, where they were responsible for managing various HR functions across three hotels. Before that, they held the position of Resident Manager and Director of Hotel Operations at Marriott International, where they oversaw hotel operations, managed a major renovation project, and implemented strategies to improve profitability.

Vera also has experience as a Task Force General Manager and General Manager at Marriott International and Courtyard Upper Eastside Hotel respectively. Vera Sostre, SPHR, PHR, completed their education at Bay Path University from 1984 to 1986. In April 2022, they obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification, followed by the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification in June 2022.
