Denise R. Grabowski

Denise Grabowski, AICP, LEED AP, serves as the District One Representative on the Board of Education for the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System since January 2021. As the Principal of Symbioscity, a planning firm established in January 2011, Denise focuses on fostering mutually beneficial relationships and solutions in urban planning and design, community involvement, and consensus building. Previous experience includes roles as Director of Community Planning at Lott + Barber from February 2003 to December 2010 and Senior Planner for the Effingham County Board of Commissioners from January 2001 to January 2003. Denise holds a Master's degree in Regional and Urban Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from Furman University.
