Chaz Patterson ‑ Ellis

Chaz Patterson-Ellis has extensive work experience in the education sector. From 2011 to 2017, they held various roles at Ivy Preparatory Academy including Assistant Principal and Principal. Since 2017, they have been working at Chattahoochee Hills Charter School, first as the Director of Finance and Operations and currently as the Chief Financial Officer. In these positions, they have managed multi-million-dollar budgets, directed financial planning and strategy, analyzed and reported on financial performance, and overseen audit and tax functions.

Chaz Patterson-Ellis, EdS, MBA has a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development from Florida State University, which was obtained from 2002 to 2006. In 2007 to 2009, Chaz completed a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. Later, from 2010 to 2012, Chaz pursued a Specialist of Education, Ed.S. degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from UGA Mary Frances Early College of Education. Most recently, from 2019 to 2021, Chaz completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Kennesaw State University.
