Valerie Hoke

Valerie Hoke has been working in the creative field for over six years. Valerie began their career in 2014 as a Copywriter for the University of Arizona BookStores. In this role, they wrote engaging copy and content for advertisements, marketing campaigns, and website pages using the University of Arizona's brand voice. Additionally, they generated and posted social media content to multiple accounts, maintained online brand voice, and monitored analytics.

In 2015, Hoke began working for ChatterBlast Media as an Associate Creative Director, Creative Manager, Editor, and Content Specialist. Valerie also worked as a Contributor for Technical.ly, where they wrote and researched sponsored articles in collaboration with Technical.ly clients for publication on Technical.ly Philly. Valerie also reported on relevant tech stories related to Philadelphia and the greater Technical.ly.

In the same year, Hoke began working for Professionals in Philanthropy, LLC as a Writer and Contributor. In this role, they wrote, researched, and edited grant proposals on behalf of clients ranging from nonprofits to foundations. Valerie also prepared weekly social media posting plans and managed Facebook and Twitter accounts.

In 2021, Hoke began working as an Adjunct Assistant Professor for The University of the Arts.

Valerie Hoke received their Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Arizona in 2015. Prior to that, they attended New York University from 2011 to 2012.
