Nicola Stacey

Nicola Stacey currently serves as the Chief Underwriting Officer at Chaucer Syndicates since November 2019. Previously, Nicola held the position of Head Of Risk Management for Property and Casualty Reinsurance at Swiss Re from September 2006 to November 2019, where responsibilities included global oversight of risk management and serving as the divisional Chief Risk Officer for EMEA. Earlier in their career, Nicola was the Head of UK and Lloyd’s Underwriting at General Electric Insurance Solutions from July 2001 to September 2006 and also served as Head of Global Cat and Retro at GE Frankona Re from September 1994 to July 2001, beginning their career as a Property Underwriter in both facultative and treaty settings.
