Mithra Mahmoudi

Mithra Mahmoudi is a seasoned biomedical professional with over 25 years of experience in pharmaceutical research and development. Currently serving as the Platform Lead for Reagents & Research Tools at CHDI Foundation, Inc. since November 2007, Mithra focuses on drug development for Huntington’s disease. Prior to this role, Mithra was a Scientific Manager at Berlex Biosciences, where responsibilities included pathologic evaluation and support for various therapeutic areas. Mithra's foundational experience includes positions as a Research Associate III at Nexstar Pharmaceuticals and as a Staff Research Associate at UCLA, concentrating on in vitro assays and neuronal characterization, respectively. Mithra holds a Master’s degree in Pharmacology from UCLA and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of South Carolina.
