José Alonso Y.

José Alonso Y.'s work experience spans several roles and companies. José Alonso co-founded Ayotle SAS in 2010, where they served as the Co-Founder and CTO until 2019. In this role, they were responsible for technical and scientific aspects of the company, including patents, network development, architecture, security, design, and research and development of motion and performance capture augmented reality products.

Before founding Ayotle SAS, José worked as an Industrialisation Manager at Clirisgroup from 2009 to 2010. José Alonso implemented and developed computer vision algorithms into products, analyzed the technical environment to improve the products, and tested industrial vision cameras for better performance.

Prior to that, José was a Researcher at ENST from 2004 to 2008. José Alonso'swork focused on 3D face tracking and facial expression estimation, where they studied image processing methodologies and developed tracking algorithms using Monte Carlo methods.

José also had an internship at CASIA. Université de Pekin in 2007.

In 2015, José co-founded Hayo, Virtual Controls for Your Connected Home and served as the Co-Founder and CTO until 2021. José Alonso later co-founded Castle Studio - Startup Studio in 2021.

Currently, José is working at Check & Visit as the VP of Engineering since February 2023. Prior to this role, they served as a Strategic Advisor at the company from September 2022 to February 2023.

Furthermore, in 2021, José was a Co-Founder of Buho.tech.

José Alonso Y.'s education history begins with their Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, which they completed from 1997 to 2003. Following this, they pursued a DEA in Telecommunications at Télecom Paris for the academic year 2003-2004. José then went on to complete their Ph.D. in Digital Image and Signal Processing at Telecom ParisTech (Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications), where they studied from 2003 to 2008.
