Cinthia Portugal

Cinthia Portugal has over 20 years of experience in the marketing and communications field. Cinthia began their career in 1997 as Corporate International Public Relations, Software International Public Relations, Software Speakers' Bureau, and Sun IR at Sun Microsystems. In 2004, they moved to Microsoft as Corporate Communications for the Xbox division. In 2007, they joined Cisco as Corporate Communications for the Consumer Business Group. From 2008 to 2010, they worked at Amazon.com as Amazon Kindle Communications. Cinthia then returned to Microsoft as SharePoint Communications from 2010 to 2014. After that, they worked as Vice President of Marketing for a Security Startup from 2014 to 2015. From 2015 to 2018, they were the Owner and Marketing Consultant at GO Concepts. Cinthia then joined Humio as Vice President Marketing from 2018 to 2021. Most recently, they have been the Chief Marketing Officer at Checkly since 2022.

Cinthia Portugal attended San Francisco State University from 1994 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations. Cinthia also attended Sir Francis Drake High School, but did not receive a degree.
