Germán R Torres Liz

Germán R Torres Liz has over 20 years of experience in sales and business development roles. Germán R is currently the Senior Regional Sales Manager at Checkmarx, a global leader in software security solutions. In this role, Germán is responsible for delivering comprehensive software security platforms and reducing risk from software vulnerabilities for leading organizations such as SAP, Samsung, and Salesforce.

Prior to joining Checkmarx, Germán served as the Director of Corporate Sales at Huawei, where they were responsible for corporate sales strategies. Before that, they worked as the IT Business Director at CHG-MERIDIAN, where they developed IT leasing business opportunities and managed key customers in Mexico.

Germán has also held positions as the Strategic Accounts Director at Panduit, the Sales Director at Sistemas Digitales (H01a Innovación), and the Regional Sales Director at Ingenico-Sagem. In these roles, they were responsible for developing strategic accounts, sales of advanced telecommunication solutions, and secure electronic media payment solutions.

Earlier in their career, Germán worked as the Enterprise Sales Director at Global Crossing Mexico, the Sales Manager at Avaya, and the Multinational Account Manager at Lucent Technologies. In these roles, they were responsible for sales strategies, building relationships with multinational accounts, and implementing voice and data solutions.

Throughout their career, Germán has worked with major clients such as BBVA, Banorte-IXE, Santander, HSBC, Banco Azteca, and many more. Germán R has a strong background in sales, business development, and strategic account management, making him a valuable asset in the technology industry.
