Marcelo Gonçalves

Marcelo Gonçalves has work experience in various software engineering roles. Marcelo is currently employed at Checkmarx as a Software Engineer since January 2021. Previously, they worked at BIZAY as a Software Developer from February 2019 to December 2020. In 2018, they worked as a Junior Software Developer at Xpand IT, where they were a member of the artificial intelligence team, developing proofs of concept using Microsoft tools. Prior to that, Marcelo was a Research Fellow at HASLab | INESC TEC in 2017, focusing on improving the TOM Framework and using technologies such as Java and JavaScript.

From 2007 to 2012, they attended Escola Secundária de Amares where they completed their 12º year, focusing on the Scientific Area.

From 2012 to 2015, they pursued a Licentiate degree in Informatics Engineering at Universidade do Minho.

Lastly, from 2015 to 2017, Marcelo Gonçalves continued their education at Universidade do Minho, earning a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering.
