Bo Motlagh has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. In 2021, they founded United Effects LLC and serves as the CEO. Bo'srole involves empowering and connecting SMB companies, as well as integrating and securing apps, data, APIs, and users. In 2023, Bo joined JML International as an Interim CTO. In 2022, they became a Strategic Advisor at MeaningSphere. Prior to these roles, Bo worked at Vertex Inc. from 2019 to 2021, first as the Director of Emerging Technology and later as the Director of Software Architecture. At Vertex, they led a team of architects and designed foundational platform technologies to support the company's growth. From 2015 to 2019, Bo worked at Frontline Education, starting as an Enterprise Architect and Director of Platform Services, and later becoming a Principal Engineer and Manager. Bo played a key role in the technological advancement and R&D of the company's products. Before that, Bo was a Software Development Manager at Under Armour in 2015, where they managed the development and delivery of web applications. Bo began their career at TEKsystems in 2005, serving in various roles including Principal Architect, Practice Architect, and Sr. Automation and Process Engineer. During their tenure, they mentored and guided teams, developed testing methodologies, and designed automation solutions.

Bo Motlagh completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Engineering from Lehigh University from 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, Bo studied Physics at Drexel University from 2000 to 2001, although no degree was obtained in this field. Bo has also obtained additional certifications in Agile Development and Project Management from the International Institute for Learning in April 2008, as well as the SAFe Agilist (SA) certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in June 2016.
