Aviel Erdis

Aviel Erdis is a seasoned professional with diverse experience spanning entrepreneurship, legal practice, and military leadership. Currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO of CheckMate since September 2022, Aviel previously held the position of Entrepreneur In Residence at The Garage from January 2022 to January 2023. Prior to these roles, Aviel worked as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Supreme Court Justice Isaac Amit in Israel from September 2020 to August 2021. Aviel's military background includes serving as a Special Forces Team Commander in Israeli Military Intelligence from August 2008 to July 2016, achieving the rank of Major. Academically, Aviel earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and a Bachelor of Arts in the Interdisciplinary Honors Program in the Humanities from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, graduating in 2020.
