Cody George

Cody George has worked in the software engineering field since 2015. Cody began their career as a Development Engineer at ScientificAerospace, then moved on to become a Software Engineer at Honeywell in 2017. In 2019, they joined Airtasker as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer, where they worked on improving search engine optimization, page speed, user acquisition, and developing heavily in React and Typescript. Currently, Cody George is an Engineering Director and Front-End Tech Lead at Checkmate Savings.

Cody George has an extensive educational background. Cody obtained a Master of Professional Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Western Australia in 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science and Psychology in Society from The University of Western Australia in 2014. Cody has also obtained several certifications, including a Triplebyte Certified Front End Engineer from Triplebyte in 2018, a DAT208x: Introduction to Python for Data Science from edX in 2018, a Sumo Logic Fundamentals Certification (Pro User) from Sumo Logic in 2019, a DAT201x: Querying Data with Transact-SQL from edX, and a DAT222x: Essential Statistics for Data Analysis using Excel from edX.
