George Branch

George Branch has a diverse work experience in finance and investment banking. George currently serves as the Chief of Staff to the CFO at Checkr, Inc. Prior to this, they held roles such as Director of Revenue and GTM Finance, Senior Manager of Corporate and Revenue Finance, and Senior Manager of Corporate Finance at the same company.

Before joining Checkr, Inc., George worked at Barclays where they were an Investment Banking Vice President, contributing to a transaction volume of over $22.2 billion. George also served as an Investment Banking Associate at Barclays.

George pursued their MBA at UNC Kenan-Flagler, where they were a Beta Gamma Sigma member and served as the VP of Finance in the Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Club. George was also a Regional Finalist in the Venture Capital Investment Competition.

Earlier in their career, George co-founded and managed Branch Investment Properties, a real estate investment firm that focused on opportunities in the Southeast US. George also worked as a Summer Associate at TTV Capital, LLC.

George Branch earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business. George continued their education at the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Corporate Finance and Entrepreneurship. Additionally, George has obtained various certifications, including the Series 63 and Series 79 from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), FCRA Basic Certification from NAPBS, and a Real Estate Salesperson certification from the Georgia Real Estate Commission.
