Kalpit Patel has over 15 years of work experience in various leadership roles in data, analytics, and IT. Kalpit is currently the Vice President of Engineering & Data at Tessera Data, where they lead the engineering and data teams. Prior to that, they worked at Checkr, Inc. as the VP - Cloud, Infra, Software & Data Engineering, and as the VP of Data. Kalpit also held the position of VP, Data & Insights at Inflection.

Before joining Tessera Data and Checkr, Inc., Kalpit worked at Varian as the Global Head of Data & Strategy, Insights & Analytics, Enterprise AI. In this role, they developed and executed data strategies and led a team of data engineers, scientists, and visualization experts.

Kalpit also has experience at GE Power as a Senior Leader - Data & Analytics, where they designed and delivered information management and data strategies. Kalpit was responsible for leading various data engineering and finance initiatives through digital transformation.

Earlier in their career, Kalpit worked at Neudesic as a Director and Solution Partner, where they led the delivery of multiple work streams and helped expand the company's footprint in the Southeast market. Kalpit also worked at Johnson & Johnson as the Director of Data & Analytics and as a Manager of Business Intelligence & Analytics. At Alliance Bernstein L.P., they served as the Business Intelligence Lead, focusing on reducing solution delivery time and managing offshore projects. Kalpit started their career at PriceWaterhouse Coopers as a Senior Associate, where they worked on lean projects and delivered technology solutions for Fortune 500 companies.

Kalpit holds an MBA and an MS degree, and they are ITIL® certified. Their expertise lies in data strategy, data governance, data quality, analytics, and AI.

Kalpit Patel has a diverse education history that includes multiple degrees and certifications. Kalpit obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Business Strategy and Supply Chain Management from Rutgers Business School. Kalpit also holds a Master's Degree in Computing (IT) from Western Sydney University, specializing in Information Technology. Additionally, Kalpit Patel earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Alongside their degrees, they have obtained certifications such as ServiceNow Certified System Administrator from ServiceNow and Preventing Workplace Harassment from Emtrain.
