Rodney Sanders has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Rodney started their career in 2009 at SeaWorld as an Admissions Sales representative. In 2010, they joined the US Navy as an Aviation Support Equipment Technician, where they supervised security teams and mentored team members.

After leaving the military in 2014, Rodney transitioned into the corporate sales field. Rodney worked as a Sales Associate at Signet Jewelers, where they ranked as the top part-time representative in the San Diego region.

In 2019, Rodney joined Castle Aura Enterprise as a Corporate Sales Trainer, where they led the office in sales for eight consecutive weeks and conducted employee training and interviews. Rodney then worked as a Sales Design Consultant at Bay Home & Window, consistently exceeding performance expectations and achieving a sales closing rate of over 70% throughout the Bay Area.

In 2020, Rodney briefly attended Flockjay as a student before joining Sumo Logic as an Enterprise Sales Development Representative. Rodney gained experience selling a cloud-native SAAS product in the machine data analytics space and utilized various prospecting tools.

Earlier this year, Rodney worked at Hone as a Senior Business Development Representative, successfully completing the sales quota and orchestrating discovery calls and upselling activities.

Currently, Rodney is employed at Checkr, Inc. as a Mid Market Account Executive, where they leverage their experience in sales and business development to drive results.

Rodney Sanders pursued their higher education at the University of San Diego from 2016 to 2019. During this time, they obtained a Minor in Business Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology. Prior to this, from 2015 to 2016, Rodney attended San Diego Mesa College and earned an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management, General.
