Kayla Leffler

Kayla Leffler has worked in the field of social media and marketing communications since 2014. Her most recent position was as a Social Media Specialist at Cheddar Up, which they began in 2022. Prior to that, they were a Social Media Campaign Creator at Bedrock Detroit from 2019 to 2022. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Social Content Producer and Marketing Communications Assistant at the Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau. From 2014 to 2016, they held the roles of Account Strategist, Assistant Strategist, and Public Relations Intern at Piper & Gold Public Relations. Before that, they were a Marketing and Communication Intern at the Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau. In their various roles, they have been responsible for creating content, managing freelance projects, coordinating events, developing marketing communications deliverables, and more.

Kayla Leffler has a Master of Science degree in Communication from Purdue University, which they obtained in 2017. Kayla also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Writing, Editing & Publishing and Public Relations from Michigan State University, which they obtained in 2015. Additionally, they have a certification in Marketing to Diverse Audiences from LinkedIn, which they obtained in March 2020.
