Janelle Finn has extensive experience in various roles related to curriculum development, accountability, and professional development. Janelle most recently served as the Executive Director of Curriculum, Accountability, and Professional Development at Cheektowaga Sloan School District starting in July 2018. Prior to that, they were the Director of Curriculum, Accountability, and Professional Development at the same company from July 2017 to July 2018. From 2014 to 2017, Janelle worked as an Assistant Principal at William Street Elementary School. Before that, they were a Presenter of Literacy Professional Development at Orleans Niagara Boces from 2010 to 2017. Janelle also worked as a Reading Specialist and Reading Recovery Teacher at Niagara Wheatfield Central School District from 2007 to 2014, and as a Classroom Teacher from 2000 to 2007. Additionally, Janelle has experience as an Adjunct Professor at Niagara University from 2003 to 2014.
Janelle Finn attended Niagara University from 1998 to 2003, where they obtained a Masters in Literacy. Janelle further pursued their education at the same institution from 2010 to 2013 and earned a Masters in Educational Leadership. Additionally, they attended the University at Buffalo from 1998 to 2000 and received a Masters of Science in Education, b-6.
