Jacky Chen

Jacky Chen has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Jacky currently serves as the General Partner of StarForge Fund and a Board Director at ArchAngel Network of Funds, where they focus on early-stage investments and leverages their connections within the startup ecosystem.

In addition, Jacky holds multiple positions at Wharton Alumni Angels, including Chair of the General Selection Committee, Managing Director for Canada, and Member of the Selection Committee. Here, they collaborate with a global network of angel investors and evaluates applications from entrepreneurs.

Jacky also worked as an Investor and Business Advisor at Golden Triangle Angel Network (GTAN), the top angel group investing in Canada's seed stage startups. Jacky encourages Canadian entrepreneurs to submit their applications through GTAN's web portal.

Furthermore, Jacky served as a Board Director at Cheetah Networks Inc, where they contributed to the company's strategic decision-making process.

Prior to these roles, Jacky held positions at various organizations such as York Angel Investors, LeagSoft Technologies, HTBASE, DELL, Compellent Technologies, and AttmG (Asia) Limited. Notably, they played an instrumental role in creating and developing Compellent's international business in the Asia Pacific region, leading to its acquisition by DELL.

Jacky Chen completed their Master's degree of E.E. from Dalian University of Technology from 1992 to 1995. Jacky then pursued an MBA in General Management from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) between 2006 and 2008. Most recently, they obtained a degree in Finance (WM'19) from The Wharton School, where they studied from 2017 to 2019.
