Chris McNeilly

Chris McNeilly is an accomplished data science leader with extensive experience across various industries, currently serving as Vice President of Data Science at Chegg Inc. since January 2016, where Chris is focused on advancing the company's Generative AI initiatives. Previous roles include Director of Graph, Modeling, and Personalization at Chegg, Director of Search Sciences at eBay Inc., Chief Technology Officer at Motista, and VP of Technology at SmartBrief. Chris's career began with a series of technical and leadership positions, starting as a Research Scientist at the Center for Machine Translation and progressing through roles that emphasize machine learning, data science, and product development. Chris holds an M.S. in Computational Linguistics from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.S. in Systems Analysis from Miami University.
