Larisa Kirkland

Larisa Kirkland is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as a Lead Application Security Engineer at Chegg Inc. since April 2022. Previously, Larisa worked as an Application Security Engineer at Axway from 2014 to April 2022, where responsibilities included maintaining security tools, assisting teams with security issue remediation, and conducting training sessions. Larisa's background also includes serving as a Staff Officer in Cyber Warfare with the Multinational Division South East and leading an IT team for the Romanian Ministry of Defense. Additionally, Larisa interned at IBM in 2010 within a machine learning research group. Larisa holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with Honors from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
