Hongbin Yang

Hongbin Yang is a Scientist at CHEMICAL.AI, specializing in the development of chemoinformatics algorithms for automated synthesis and chemical analytics since November 2021. Previously, Yang served as a Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge, focusing on deriving predictive models for cardiac risk through machine learning applied to calcium transient data. Yang has also contributed to the field as an Algorithm Engineer at Chemical.AI, where the focus was on retro-synthesis algorithms, and as an intern at WuXi AppTec and Amgen, gaining experience in advanced algorithm implementation and next-generation sequencing analysis, respectively. Yang holds a Ph.D. in Chemoinformatics and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering from East China University of Science and Technology.
