Colin Welch

Colin Welch is an accomplished environmental professional with extensive experience in governance, quality, and reporting, currently serving as the Director at Chemtrade since June 2015. Welch has held various roles in the field, including EHS Regional Manager and Responsible Care Manager at Chemtrade, and Environmental Coordinator at Canexus, where responsibilities encompassed site environmental policies, management of remediation projects, and waste management. Previous experience includes technical representation at GE Water & Process Technologies and field technician work at the Manitoba Hazardous Waste Management Corporation. Welch holds a Master of Science in Environmental Practice from Royal Roads University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Winnipeg and relevant certifications in environmental practice and hazardous waste management.
