James Huang

James Huang, MBA, PMP has over 25 years of professional experience in various leadership positions. James is currently working as the Director Corporate Resource Teams at Chemtrade. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President at Danimer Scientific, where they led strategy, capacity growth, and sales/business development.

Before that, James held roles at Ascend Performance Materials, including Director of Corporate Development, Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Engineering Director. During their time at Ascend, they designed and implemented a successful M&A program and managed the acquisition and integration of strategic targets.

James also worked at Imerys as the Director of Operations and Supply Chain and later as the Global Director of Purchasing, Logistics, and Supply Chain. James was responsible for optimizing operations, overseeing manufacturing plants and mines, and managing global sourcing and logistics.

Prior to that, they worked at BP as the Americas Manager of Engineering, leading regional supply chain initiatives and managing engineering projects. James also gained experience at OMNOVA Solutions as a Technical Manager, and at Tensar Corporation as an R&D Process Engineer.

James started their career at BASF as a Product Manager. Throughout their career, they have consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and expertise in mergers and acquisitions, supply chain management, and engineering.

James Huang, MBA, PMP has a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. James also holds a Bachelor of Science in Polymer Chemistry from the same institution. Additionally, James has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on International Business/Finance from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University. James has obtained several certifications, including the Foundations of Leadership from INSEAD Business Management School, Supply Chain Management from the Institute for Supply Management, and various leadership certifications from organizations such as Imerys and the Center for Creative Leadership. James also has certifications in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. James is also a Licensed Real Estate Agent in Georgia.
