Orooj Wasti

Orooj Wasti has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Orooj currently works as a Senior Project Lead at Chenega Corporation. Orooj started this role in February 2021 and holds an active Secret Clearance. Prior to Chenega Corporation, Orooj worked at Kelly as a Project Manager from March 2019 to January 2021. In this role, they oversaw the establishment of an Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) using various technologies and tools. Orooj also managed the project portfolio through Azure DevOps/VSTS, using AGILE methodologies for sprint planning and backlog prioritization. Before Kelly, Orooj was a Project Manager at General Motors from February 2013 to January 2019. Orooj also has experience as a PLM Business Lead/Project Management at Dana Corporation from January 2011 to January 2013. Orooj has also worked at Wipro Technologies, Boeing through Wipro Technologies, CSC, Ford Motor Company, EDS, and Compqsoft in various roles such as PLM Consultant, Business Analyst, and Project Manager/Business Analyst. Each position has provided their with valuable experience in managing projects, implementing technologies, and delivering solutions within different industries.

Orooj Wasti attended Cantt Public School from 1966 to 1976 where they completed their SSC degree with a focus on Science. Orooj then went on to study Civil Engineering at NED University of Engineering and Technology from 1981 to 1986.
