Roland Cantu

Roland Cantu has over three decades of experience in the energy sector, specializing in instrumentation and electrical (I&E) systems. Currently employed as a Senior Technician at Cheniere Energy, Inc. since May 2017, Roland oversees operations at a large compressor station, managing a complex array of equipment including Titan and EMD compressors, generators, and an Allen Bradley PLC station control system. Prior to this role, Roland served as an I&E Technician at Enterprise Products, Devon Energy, and DCP Midstream, where responsibilities included maintaining cryogenic gas plants, managing automated systems, and ensuring safety through PSM testing. Roland began their career as an Electrical Contractor at Industrial Electric/Motor Rewind Company, where expertise in troubleshooting and installation laid a strong foundation for subsequent roles in the industry.
