Erika Dreyer, MPH has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Erika recently worked as an Epidemiologist Analyst at Cherokee Federal starting in February 2023. Prior to that, from September 2021 to February 2023, they were a Data Specialist at ATHENA Consulting. Erika also gained experience as an Epidemiology Intern at the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services from March 2021 to September 2021.
Before transitioning into the field of public health, Erika worked as a Certified Personal Trainer at Sport&Health from October 2019 to April 2021. Prior to that, they held the role of Master Trainer at LA Fitness from December 2017 to October 2019. Erika also worked as a Personal Trainer at US Fitness Holdings, LLC from November 2015 to August 2017. Throughout these roles, Erika developed expertise in designing and delivering fitness programs to clients.
Erika's work experience also includes roles outside the health and fitness industry. Erika worked as a Rehabilitation Aide at Physiotherapy Associates from January 2015 to March 2016. Additionally, they gained valuable experience working at the University of British Columbia in various positions. Erika was an International Programs and Services Office Host from September 2013 to April 2014 and a Jumpstart Orientation Assistant from August 2011 to September 2011. In the latter role, they led activities and events for international students and received training in cultural sensitivity and health and wellness. Before that, Erika served as a Resident Advisor from September 2010 to April 2011, where they were responsible for a community of young adults and organized various events while enforcing community standards.
Erika Dreyer, MPH, completed their Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Epidemiology from The George Washington University- Milken Institute School of Public Health, where they studied from 2020 to 2023. Prior to their master's degree, they pursued their Bachelor of Human Kinetics in Kinesiology with a specialization in Health Promotion at The University of British Columbia, graduating in 2014 after studying there from 2009 to 2014.
