Defense Trade Analyst at Cherokee Federal

Patrick Reimnitz has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Patrick is currently working at Cherokee Federal as a Defense Trade Analyst since 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Chief of the Lessons Learned Branch at the United States Air Force from 2019 to 2021. In this role, they led the MAJCOM-level Lessons Learned program for Air Force District of Washington and provided advisory support to senior leaders.

Before that, Patrick worked at the U.S. Department of State as a Defense Trade Analyst in the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls Licensing from 2015 to 2019. Patrick'sresponsibilities included reviewing and approving defense agreements for the export of U.S. military technology and coordinating with various agencies and nations to advance national security interests.

Additionally, Patrick served as a Program Manager at the United States Air Force from 2011 to 2015. Patrick also worked as an Assistant Professor and ROTC Instructor at Loyola Marymount University from 2008 to 2011.

Patrick Reimnitz obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California from 1996 to 2000. Patrick then attended Webster University from 2005 to 2006 and earned a Master of Arts degree in Management and Leadership. Later, from 2008 to 2012, Patrick pursued a Master of Arts degree in Theological Studies at Loyola Marymount University. Additionally, they obtained several certifications from the United States Department of Defense, including Defense Acquisition Program Management, Level III in July 2015, Defense Acquisition Engineering, Level III in May 2014, and Defense Acquisition Test and Evaluation, Level I in January 2003.
