Michael Wheeler, MCM, CCE

Michael Wheeler has extensive experience in the club management industry. Michael began their career at Woodmont Country Club as a Clubhouse Manager in 1991. Michael then worked at Louisville Country Club as a General Manager from 1994 to 1997, and later at Westmoreland Country Club as a General Manager from 1997 to 2001. In 2001, they joined Medinah Country Club as a General Manager and COO, a role they held until 2006. Michael then joined Cherokee Town and Country Club as the COO and General Manager in November 2006. Michael also is a member of the Club Managers Association of America since 1989.

Michael Wheeler, MCM, CCE, has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from Hampden-Sydney College, which they obtained from 1984 to 1988. Michael then pursued a Masters degree in Business Administration from Averett University, which they completed between 1991 and 1993. In addition to their academic achievements, Michael has also obtained several certifications. Michael is a Certified Club Manager (CCM), awarded by the Club Management Association of America in June 2018. Michael also holds the certification of Certified Chief Executive (CCE), which they obtained from the same institution in June 2010.
