Laurie Carroll

Laurie Carroll, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has a extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Laurie began their career as an HR Business Partner at First Union Securities, specializing in Capital Markets. Laurie then moved on to Wachovia Securities, where they served as a Human Resources Manager and led a team of HR consultants. At Wells Fargo Advisors, Laurie held the position of Human Resources Manager, SVP and played a strategic consulting role, guiding senior leaders in their human capital programs. Laurie was also selected to assist in transforming HR services in an acquired organization to an HR Business Partner model. Currently, Laurie is with Cherry Bekaert, where they have held various roles including Senior Manager of Human Resources and Leader of the HR Business Partner Team. In their current position as Director of the People and Culture Business Partner Team, Laurie is responsible for aligning HR programs with the business strategy and is a member of the COO leadership team.

Laurie Carroll, SPHR, SHRM-SCP holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Richmond. Additionally, they have obtained certifications including Diversity and Inclusion Champion from Cherry Bekaert and the credentials of Crucial Conversations Certified Instructor, Emotional & Social Competency Inventory (ESCI), Predictive Index Certified Analyst, SHRM-SCP, and SPHR from various institutions.
