Michael Elliot

Michael Elliot has over 25 years of work experience in the tax industry. Michael started their career at Deloitte as a Tax Manager in the Real Estate Services Group where they represented clients in the real estate industry. Michael then joined PwC as a Tax Manager in the Middle Market Services group, where they primarily handled law firm clients.

After that, Michael worked at Tishman Speyer as a Tax Manager, and then at Metcalf Davis as a Senior Tax Manager. In 2008, they became a Partner at Moore Colson, leading the tax services for the firm's real estate industry niche and developing tax planning strategies for clients.

From 2016 to 2017, Michael was a Principal at CliftonLarsonAllen, where they led a team of tax professionals serving real estate industry clients and expanded services to existing clients. Currently, they are working as a Tax Director at Cherry Bekaert LLP, where they are a national expert on partnership taxation and leads teams serving real estate industry clients.

Michael Elliot received their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting from the University at Albany, SUNY from 1991 to 1995. Michael then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MS) in Tax Law/Taxation at Pace University - Lubin School of Business from 1996 to 1998.
