Robert McCarthy

Robert McCarthy's work experience begins in 2004 at Accenture Federal Services, where they worked as a Client Financial Management Analyst. In this role, they managed project and financial management for Accenture contracts with various US Federal Government Departments. Robert was responsible for budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis, invoicing, and internal controls documentation.

Over the years, McCarthy held several positions at Accenture Federal Services, including Client Financial Management Specialist, Client Financial Management Manager, Accenture Federal Services Functional Lead, and Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis.

In December 2016, McCarthy became the Strategic Growth Projects Team Lead for Accenture Federal Services, where they led key strategic initiatives for the Office of the CFO. Robert advised leadership and key stakeholders on innovative strategies to solve complex business issues and developed an evaluation framework for strategic investments.

In 2022, McCarthy joined Cherry Bekaert as the Director of Finance.

Robert McCarthy obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Virginia Tech, completing their education in the years 2000 to 2004.
